what is ps3 total shipments? there cant be that many ps2s in its shipments after 2012 wasnt it discontinued lae 2012 early 13?

90.2M for ps3 in that chart if FY12/13 is the only year ps2 numbers were merged then is safe to assume ps3 is between 87-88M shipped

I'm going to ignore future psv sales as they will only contribute a minor amount to sales. Which means roughly 40 million to go to reach 500 million. I think Ps4 will ship another 40 million between now and some time in 2017, probably mid to late 2017. Ps4 should be over 50 million shipped by the end of 2016, so <10 million to go during 2017. If I had to be more precise I'd say Q3 2017.
