Nintendo has patched the holes pretty well. Mario Party 10 and Kirby may not be everyone's cup of tea, but they were well placed in the year to help plug the early doldrum holes. And N64 and DS games coming to the eshop (finally) is a nice touch.

It's okay. Hat's off to the MK8 for getting the new content ready early.
Mighty No. 9 could release, but I got a feeling that's been delayed.
I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Well to be fair in February+March we got Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D, Pokemon Shuffle, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars, Codename S.T.E.A.M., Fossil Fighters: Frontier, & Mario Party 10. 7 Nintendo-published titles in the last 2 months is pretty damn good.

I'm just talking about for Wii U. The 3DS hasn't had one. I consider only releasing Kirby RC, MvDK, and MP10 a pretty dry drought. It's like going to a five star resteraunt, ordering a full course meal, and only getting an appitizer, peanuts, and that free spiced bread no one ever eats for two hours while you wait for what you really payed for.

Well I am looking forward to Xenoblade Chronicles for the New 3DS; I did not get a chance to play the first one and getting it on Wii in Canada is so expensive at this point. Overall I am not complaining. Though I am worried about the next long drought for Wii U which for NA customers is right after the release of Splatoon since Yoshi's Wooly World has been delayed until September in North America.

In that case, I agree. If u split it up based on device, than neither one has that great of a lineup so far this year. I know I probably sound like a broken record by now but this is really why Nintendo needs to unify their platforms next-gen.
Q1+Q2 Wii U lineup
Kirby+Mario Party+Splatoon+a bunch of eShop/VC titles.
Q1+Q2 3DS lineup
Majora's Mask+STEAM+Fossil Fighters+Xenoblade+PDZ/Mario+a few niche Japanese games+a few licensed kids games+a bunch of eShop/VC titles.
Neither one has an amazing lineup, although 3DS is quite a bit better, but when u combine the 2 devices then ur looking at a pretty consistant and quality release schedule.
