I'd like them to do a new IP. They have proved that they have a lot of talent, with the Metroid Prime saga and the two DK platformers, all of them amazing games. It's time for them to do their own IP.

I don't see how this is even remotely a surprise. The TF engine was the Prime engine. And obviously they'd be working on a Wii U game, as their only game so far was just a compilation of ideas they never got to use in their last game. They'd obviously have one game to put on the Wii U.

But I hope it's a 3D Donkey Kong OR Diddy Kong Racing Returns. I really think Metroid needs to go to someone else.

Erm... Not that I want to be a party pooper but, didn't we know that already?

I mean, Retro has never developed a handheld game (they helpled in MK7 but that's it), and while Tropical Freeze used their Wii engine, it was a given that they would work on a new engine to get most of Wii U's capabilities.

Please excuse my bad English.

I'm hoping a new IP, Metroid or 3D DK platformer. An action RPG of Fire Emblem would be sweet.

But please don't put a team that is well known for exploration based games (yes even DKC: TF) on a racer that will sell 500k copies at best.

"Metroid already has a minigame in Nintendo Land and they just released Metroid Prime Trilogy for the VC. Is Metroid all you think about?"

Why should Metroid go to someone else? These guys have proven that they can make (arguably( the best Metroid games.
