Bloodborne will be the second best PS4 mover... just behind Destiny.

It is not niche.

Bloodborne will never match the likes of FIFA or COD or even the GTA re release for moving consoles and it is most definitely niche.

So I guess 99% of games are niche by your meassures?

I mean its all semantics but Bloodborne's audience is far too big to keep calling it niche in context of the average game release (not Fifa and COD which are the 1%), technically everything is a niche in that it only appeals to a certain set of people but when that set of people is 2m+ I think the term looses value. No one cared to call The Order, Infamous etc Niche.

If a game does 1.5m I'm not calling it niche.  Of course there's some margin for error there especially with digital ever growing but that's usually my barometer.

PS4 with 60% of the 8th gen console market.

Just need to see those territory breakdowns

Agreed. If we can see those, we can further analyze the state of the marketsmarketsharw for each region.

BloodBorne results are something I am most looking forward to. Other than that, a decent week overall. PS4 did well as expected, 3DS as well.

VGC has the PS4 WW over tracked as of last week. Rounding would put it at 20.3m and not 20.2m
PS4 US under tracked in February by 43k after the update.
Xbox One and Wii U are pretty close to February NPD, so that's alright.

The VGC PS4 number for the week ending 28th Feb isn't overtracked. It's the official number from Sony.

VGC has it at 20.268m that week. That's closer to 20.3m than 20.2m and would show up as 20.3m on VGC own chart on the front page if we were still on that week.

Won bet with t3mporary_126 - I correctly predicted that the Wii U's LTD at the end of 2014 would be closer to 9 million than 10 million. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=6673287

PS4 beating Xbox One in the US still.

Xbox One isn't doing so bad in Europe, may be half of what the PS4 is doing but that isn't so bad, not as bad as people claim at least.

Lol if you want to believe made up numbers, sure.

The PS4 is down and I agree that it should be higher than it is, but they have changed the XOne numbers. It now has several weeks over 100k and is in fact 10k lower than the week before.

See, that's exactly the reason why I hate commenting on these weekly sales, and the reason why I don't take VGC numbers seriously. They just publish any random number, then weeks and months later go back and stealth edit past data.

Nowhere and never do they admit their mistakes, and transparently show the adjustments. It's always best to wait for NPD, it is monthly, but at the rate VGC publishes numbers, it's not that much slower. And at least it can be taken at face value.

Yeah true, but I think somewhere on this website there is a section that says their numbers are just estimates and they don't represent any actual factual numbers.

Add me on Xbox: DWTKarma

Man, those Wii U numbers are tragic. PS4 still holding up to the top spot and Xb1 hanging in there too.

US sales for february according to NPD:
WiiU: 1,500 undertracked
XBO: 7,000 undertracked
3DS: 14,000 undertracked
PSV: 40,000 undertracked (!!!)
PS4: 44,000 undertracked (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
