/thread?

I'd be careful of that overgeneralization.

Rather its more like it looks better to those who were anticipating it more.

I mean, there isn't really another qualifer that you could say SMTXFE had more of then P5 or vice versa.

Cause I am a nintendo fan, but I'm not a fire emblem fan, so I couldn't give 3 shits about a cross over game. It honestly looks a lot like Akiba and Devil Survivor to me. While I've never seen anything like P5. Never. There probably is. But I've never seen it.

So for me its simple. Unique Vs Generic. Style Vs Simplicity.

Oh and the music, not even a contest. Nothing is wrong with J-pop, but there is a lot better.

We haven't seen that much of either game, so I'll wait before making judgements
Also I'm a just LITTLE biased :/

Well the trailer for SMTxFE did look better but that is because it contained a lot more actual gameplay.
Persona 5's trailer was pretty much style and flash.

Aside from that it is WAY TOO early to say which is the better game, but SMTxFE looks like it it further along with development.

... Pretty sure they are both releasing this year so I doubt their is any real difference in how far along they are.

Also Persona 5's trailer contains gameplay, the talking to friends, the running and walking around, the sneaking and stealth thing, hell we even see them attack enemies. The only non gameplay really is the anime cutscenes. Also we all know how Persona plays by now, we had no idea what SMTxFE would even be. Many were expecting FE style gameplay so they kind of needed to show us what it was like

Persona 5 has so much more style and personality, based on the trailers...and I'm a fanboy of neither.

So I just watched a video about it. Fire Emblem and SMT fans have serious reason to be excited about this.

All those "demons" are SMT adaptations of typical Fire Emblem enemies. Like, that purple centaur lady is something/someone called a "Aversa" in the trailer, which apparently is a Fire Emblem enemy/character. The giant floating head enemy was an enemy/character called "Gangrel." Again, a demonic/SMT reinterpretation.

I think it's clear what this implies. Fire Emblem characters are being reinterpreted as "demons" in this game. That might mean that the MC's will use famous FE characters as Personas/Special "demons!"

Of course I must disagree, but not because of bias.

Its simple; this looks better

than this. The NPC's are just skittles.

My only problem is that at least so far, all the fighting appears to be restricted to a arena and looks more like standard JRPG fair then anything from one of the main SMT or FE games. That being said, the ruined landscape gives me hope and I hear the guy behind the Devil Survivor games is in charge (which makes for decent excuse as to why we haven't gotten a Devil Survivor 3) so even if it is nothing like I would have original thought, there is still hope that this will be a great game worthy of both franchises.

The skittles are actually one thing I like more about this game than P5. You don't see that kind of style in big JRPGs like this. Everytime I think of things I don't like about it, I remember that without the slice of life parts, there would be no skittles. I seriously love the skittles. And the blue cardigan.

"It´s simple"

No is not, I feel the second one more appeling. And the animations on the trailer looks a lot better than p5.

But overall the trailer of P5 was better.

Not biased. of course.....
