I have never played a Megami Tensei (including all spinoffs), so either of them would be probably a good choice for me!
Oh and btw, persona 5 trailer was really much, much better than this one.
The style, the music, gameplay, everything was perfect, it was a great trailer.
For Smtx Fe, we got what ?
A random song who could be in any opening from a bad anime, boobs with a touch of Hatsune Miku , and nothing who looks life FE except Tiki and Chrom.
I don't even know how someone can compare these two trailers. Persona 5 was godlike, SMTxFE trailer was horrible, that's it.
And i own both nintendo and sony consoles + persona/FE games, so i'm not biaised.
The "Revelations"/"Ibunroku" part of the title seems to come from Persona 1, which was Megami Ibunroku Persona. This is Fire Emblem x Persona, guys. No hardcore SMT at all. No doubts about it now.

not exactly true. I'm a ninterndo fan and i probably fit that bill but that's just because I prefer the look of it. Persona 5 is something I would buy and I look forward to watchign Superjeenius LP it. I however can say from the trailers that I prefer SMTXFE and part of that is because of FE.

Persona 1 is pretty hardcore MegamiTensei though.
Not enough info and trailer for SMT X FE , but initial impression graphically it slightly better then Persona 5 on PS3, but i don't know how Persona 5 will look on PS4 (it will close but with higher resolution and anti aliasing and better frame rate = SMT X FE, i guess). But art style and concept on cross story game will not help SMT X FE, and Persona 5 is will be far better because they will use Persona concept on Persona 5, unlike SMT X FE will be totally new and unfamiliar.

Jk, but I kinda thought it was something like this. I knew I spotted the classes from Fire Emblem right away (Lord, Archer, Pegasus Knight, the bike one was probably a Cavalier or Great Knight, etc), they are just kinda cyber-punk looking, if that's the right word. I am still wondering what the ratio of slice-of-life to standard RPG/battle/etc will be. Looking at the trailer, things clearly don't stay all happy for too long :P

It was also the same for Devil Survivor. So I'm assuming the Revelations usually just means it's a continuous spin-off.
