I can't angue with you if you think a less detailed environment including the NPCs looks better than one that has more detail.
Swag, of course.

The people who can says that SMTxFE looks better than Persona 5 are clearly just a fanboy/girl. I know you guys want to sleep better at night but seriously, you guy are funny. You finaly got a good games on the Wii U so you want to get some attention. I remeber how you guys want Persona 5 on the Wii U but now you have to like what you got because it's never be on the Wii U.

So you probably hate Nintendo.
Why should we see your opinion as not biased but her opionion is biased?
She likes Persona 5, is not the first time she says that.

I agree on the NPCs although that's a style choice as even in the animations it's like that although in the store you can see other NPCs that are standard but I don't agree on the environment tbh they seem just as detail as each other only difference is one is cel-shaded so they're bound to appeal to different people.
I am a Nintendo fan and I am disappointed because it looks like a Persona game.
I expected something completely different.

The dissapointment is natural. But now is a good idea to look beyond that.
Persona is one of the best modern Jrpgs on the industry. So having something like Persona in WiiU could be great. imo.
I wasnt expecting anything, I thought that this project was dead by now. So It was a very good surprise to me.
Better a new Persona game than nothing. And looks cool.

I think it's more likely that it was a cost-cutting decision that they then worked into being something visually appealing, rather than a 'proper' artistic choice. Applying that decision to the animations would make sense; it keeps things consistent and saves more time and money (for the same reasons as it does with the in-game models). Persona 5 uses similar stylized cost-cutting techniques really, they're just more subtle (such as leaving some faces blank, a technique also used by many anime).
As for the environments, while it's hard to properly judge either based on a few seconds of online video, i think you're right. They both look about as detailed as the other (just with different artistic/design focuses).
