Forums - Nintendo - Zelda Delay? Good. Time For Wii U Owners To STEP UP And Support Other IP

Yeah, maybe they will bring a shiny Zelda Special Edition Wii U! I definitely would want to buy that. So if I buy a Wii U now and they bring that Special Edition when Zelda releases, that would really piss me off. So I'm just gonna wait for Zelda.

As for all those folks who already git a Wii U: I don't know, just let them play what they like. No point in buying random games just because Zelda got delayed. I'm sure that the games listed in the OP are great and all, but everyone has his own taste. I even heard of people who don't even like Mario or Zelda. I personally didn't like Xenoblade at all. I bought it, because everyone said it was the shit and whatnot. But I didn't have any fun with it. Not even in the slightest way. The game is pretty boring imo.

But also, has there ever been a Zelda that was not delayed? Seriously, real Nintendo fans should have gotten used to that by now. I don't get all the outrage to be quite honest.

I can be satisfied with a handful of games that I can play for a long time...

Smash U, MK8, Hyrule Warriors, etc. so though I agree there aren't many games on the Wii U, I still enjoy it..

[3DS] Winter Playtimes [Wii U]

I was planning on giving a shoot at DKCTF.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

I got AC3 and Resident Evil Revelations on the way to hold me out till Splatoon.

Couldnt have said it any better myself Soundwave, there is a ton of great stuff on Wii U if you give things a try. I have done my bit with 60 plus games ranging from 1st party, 3rd party, Indie and VC.

Don't forget Lego City Undercover. Great game, and better than all other Lego games out there. Lots of collectibles and a huge map.

That came out almost the same time as Tropical Freeze. That's also great, with the best original soundtrack in a long time, imo.

Yep.

I have:

Assassins Creed 4: Black Flag
Bayonetta
Bayonetta 2
Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker
Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Directors Cut
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
Hyrule Warriors
Lego City Undercover
Mario Kart 8
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate
Pikmin 3
Rayman Legends
Resident Evil Revelations
Splinter Cell: Blacklist
Super Mario 3D World
Super Smash Bros. For WiiU
The Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD
The Wonderful 101
Watch Dogs
ZombiU

Im not sure there are any other games worth owning so far...

I consider myself part of a tiny minority within the miniscule install base that actually has roughly half games being 3rd party and there is a wide range of game franchises and genres.

I'll support Nintendo and buy a Wii U sometime this year. Zelda was really what I wanted one for but eh, guess it doesn't matter too much when I buy the console.

You are telling that on a Nintendo dedicated section of a gaming/sales forum. These people more than likely (and looking over some comments) already have these games. its the uninformed parents and more casual players and its them that Nintendo NEED to advertise to and not us, fairly educated gamers. I get your point though, it's got some truth to it but you can't shove games down people's throat if they are not appealing to them.
