Is anyone else experiencing problems with reading discs (brand new or old ones). For the past few months it takes me several times of ejecting and inserting the game disc until it starts loading. Most of the times I have to force the disc with my hand in order to be read. Simply insertion by pressing the Eject/Insert button will not do.

I have a Day1 Xbone .

Anyone else having the same? Is this software or hardware related?

Any help would be much appreciated...

Sounds like you should send it in if it's still under warranty. I've never experienced that with mine.

I don't use it too often as most of my games are digital and I mostly watch stuff on Netflix, but I've never had a problem with it when I do use it. Played Metro Redux from disc recently, and I do pop in a blu ray movie now and again.

You should probably contact support though if something is wrong with yours

Sounds weird. Does X1 use wifi to connect controllers ?

I had the same problem with my day one xbox one and I send it back to them so send me new one

Did they send you a new box? That means you lost your Day 1 box then?

Mine does it too on occasion. Try putting the disc in and wait 5 minutes. If that works, hold down the Xbox power button for 10-15 seconds until it.powers down. Wait until the light on the power brick turns from white to orange. Important not to.do it any sooner.

Mine does this, but a very small, less than 10% of the time. Its outside the warranty period now so hope t doesn't get worse.

Dont do it in quick successions. If it doesn't load first time, take it out, open an app or something then try it.
