The camera is way too fast but there is an easy fix. Go to options and change Lock-on to Hold r1. That way you'll be in control of where the camera goes. It's a fun and addicting game and the combat is in no way limited at all. Lots of ways to fight specially with all the characters. They all learn so many techniques, magic and such so a lot of variety to choose from. Saying its limited just because there's only 4 buttons is pretty ignorant and shows that you either did not play it or did not understand it. Not to mention the other moves are performed using a combination of directional buttons and action buttons.

Yep. I figured this out after Ch 1. It helps alot.
After about 10 hours with this game I think it the world reminds of FFVII more than any other FF. The combat style is its own (like any FF) but the way things look just screams FF VII. If Sephiroth walked in.... he would fit right in with this world(except he would be a l'Cie, not a Jenova host).

I'm liking what I'm hearing so far about Type 0.
For fans of JRPGs , is this the best or at least one of the best games you have played this gen? Also did you try to fill that JRPG hole in your hearts with other games this gen and last gen to tide you over until a memorable JRPG came out?
I myself tried getting into other genres at a stronger level last gen,but then realized that I needed to go back to my first lube.. er I mean love to fully satisfy my gaming tastes.

It's very good, but it does require some patience. There are a lot of PSP textures around the place and the camera is borderline painful
But I'm really enjoying the first 5 hours

How many hours were you in the game before/after chapter 4 if you recall?

20ish? Chapter 3 is fairly long if you try to do extra stuff. I'm at like 45 hours now on Chapter 7. I've been messing around doing as much as I possibly can.
