Forums - Nintendo - Cliff Bleszinski laughs at Nintendo opening to mobile market

who?......

It's a Japanese video game company.

OT:

Sounds like Cliff is trolling mobiles more than he's laughing at Nintendo, but what do I know. Demand for Super Mobile Mario seems to be decent though, so I guess paying for jumping power, items, 1-UP's etc. would be a welcomed feature. And it could definitely lead to Nintendo increasing the difficulty so they can sell more stuff.

For anyone saying they don't know who this guy is...just stop, use google, wikipedia, whatever.  He definitely has a place in the industry and isn't some nobody.  You're mostly just sharing your ignorance of him and your inability to effectively use the tools the internet provides you with.  Mostly, though, you're just taking the flamebait that is this thread.

I'm more surprised at the people in this thread that don't know him. I can't tell if they're being serious or sarcastic and if they truly don't know him, they didn't Google him to find out.

Cliffy is a good developer but he's also obtuse, as avident by his unprecedented thoughts and opinions when they reach the media then become news for some odd reason.

The thread title also gave me impression that this was something different.

You don't, which is why people usually buy New Super Mario Bros. U instead of a second copy of the Wii game.

Amen.

And guess what...I can't wait for Mario Maker, and the Mario that comes out on the next console as well.  Nintendo makes quality experiences that stay fresh and nostalgic at the same time.  If it's not your thing, then it's not your thing and no one forced you to buy anything.

I think most people know who he is.  I do.  He just hasn't done anything worthy of note in quite a while.  I think most people are just sick of people leeching off the sensationalism of the internet and "games media" reports.  I would be just as peeved if Sony did something, it got twisted into some sensationalist headline clickbait fest, and people started leeching off that.

Who is Cliff Bleszinski?

There is also this.

hasn't that joke been used before?
