Sony will have Uncharted there anyway even with the delay, they gona show something of the game to get ppl hyped. Probably will also have Until Dawn , maybe something from Santa Monica and maybe Guerrila Games RPG everyone keep talking about but never reveal.

O and The Last Guardian obviously cause The Last Guardian is a candidate for every E3 ever hehe.

Microsoft already has Quantum Break, Halo 5, Tomb Raider and Forza 6 slated for this year. Not only that but Gears is going to be shown at E3  (most likely a 2016 release) as we've just found out on top of Scalebound and I am sure Crackdown 3 updates. By E3 Season 3 of Killer Instinct will be teased as well. 2015 is Microsofts E3 to lose essentially. Sony and Nintendo need to do something quick. This is just f'n sad.

Are you kidding me? An anouncement is not something you already know or where expecting. The only real game you mention that could be anounced is gears, we have known about the rest for some since 2013 E3. This is mostly nothing in the consumers eyes. This is why GDC for MS was boring as could be, since they showed the same things they showed a month back in E3. This is why Nintendo and sonny will crush MS at this E3 again, they still have a lot of cards up their slevees, just look at all the games mentioned in this thread that they could anounce and are overdue, while for MS you can only epect gears(wich we already heard is coming) and some money hatted third party wich just pisses off the fanbase.

An announcement is something which is revealed or declared before a group (which you expect is coming), and a release date is when said product is officially expected. Ferguson said to expect Gears news at E3 so its confirmed Gears will be there in some capacity. GDC is nothing compared to E3 and its a mistake to even speak about it in the same sentence as E3. Tomb Raider was the moneyhatted third party but business is business and we can no longer do anything about it anymore (and it hurts even more that Uncharted was pushed back but if it makes the game better then so be it). I am just glad I am one of the lucky ones who owns both a PS4 and an Xbox One so I dont get shafted by Microsoft. Personally, it would be best for a lot of people to own three consoles if they want the true experience, but it cannot be expected. Thats just not realistic. Thats not to say that Microsoft isn't killing it right now because they are throwing their weight around. Scalebound is said to be the biggest project Platinum Games has ever worked on with Microsoft dollars behind it. Ken Lobb said its going to be a "Game of all time"? Yeah....thats called hype. Killer Instinct 3 is going to be announced at E3 for sure because there aren't many slots left in the season two bracket. The ball is in Microsofts court as far as a slew of expected major exclusives. Sony might be winning but Microsoft has been busy getting third party to work for them and they are making Sony and Nintendo look like slouches when it comes to higher name titles.

I hope all three are going to have great E3's but right now I have a feeling that Microsoft might take it this year with more Halo 5 gameplay, Quantum Break info, the Gears reveal, Tomb Raider 2 gameplay, Scalebound gameplay reveals (which I believe Lobb said to expect), killer instincts season 3 reveal as well as Crackdown 3 and much, much more. Dude...seriously If you cannot even realize how many games I have mentioned just now before they are about to reveal more games its about to get overwhelming.

I didnt take Phil Spencer serious at first at the beginning of the year when he said the amount of games he knows are coming are "crowded", but when I list everything and realize E3 still has more reveals coming its almost becoming overwhelming. Even though Sony is wining its Microsofts E3 to lose when it comes to expected games.

Oh yeah, how could I forget Forza 6 as well and the Battletoads cameo in Shovel Knight? I don't know bro, I don't know. As for what I expect to be reveal from Sony at E3, its definitely God of War 4 and the new Guerilla Games IP as well as Uncharted gameplay and possibly a reveal of Naughty Dogs latest project. One Youtube Playstation gamer said he has a feeling the reason why Uncharted was pushed back because Sony is using the same initiative that Microsoft used with Halo MCC in revealing a Uncharted remastered collection to hype people up for the holiday season before 4. Its not confirmed but its a pretty interesting thing that I thought I would take note of.

And in 2013, the PS3 was still getting TLoU, GTAV, Ni No Kuni, Dragon's Crown, Puppeteer, GT6, GoW:Ascension.

and in 2006, 2007 and 2008, it wasn't selling well or getting those kind of games.

2006 was launch year.

2007:

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune

Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction

Warhawk

Motorstorm

Heavenly Sword

Super Stardust HD

2008:

LBP

MGS4

Wipeout HD

Valkyria Chronicles

Resistance 2

Motorstorm: Pacific Rim

Disgaea 3

And the PS3 sold 8.7M in 2007 and 10.7M in 2008. Basically, still better than the WiiU has ever sold in a year.

Yoshida from sony told the media numerous times after the ps4 launch that there would be no drm in the ps4. They had never thought about it. They had asked sony before microsoft even revealed the one because the dev kit details brought up rumors that the one had drm.

Sony embarrassed microsoft at e3 because they never had plans for it and wanted to teach ms a lesson in how to treat console consumers. Jack tretton said they had nothing against the used market and did not want to step in the way of it because thats what th consumers wanted. You can look all of this up. The rumor was ea dropped drm on their games because microsoft made a deal with them to use azure to put a paywall on used games. This wouldve turned people off from used games. That was the rumor and sony decided not to side with ea but rather to stand between consumers and ea without taking Sides.

Yep. How soon things are forgotten.

I got gdc mistaken for the europe gameshow that happened at germany last year like 2 month after E3 i belive, gdc just happened.

Ok dude, I get it, but my point is that seeing the same things we saw last year, even if its just gameplay of a cgi video we saw last year still holds a lot less power. If what you expect to happen happens, and that is what is shown with the regular third party games that  get shown at sonys and the individual conferences, people will fall asleep at the MS conference. It will show that MS blew all their load at last years E3 by showing things that where not even be ready for so many years to try to beat sony.

Now lets look back at last years E3, Most of the games shown at the sony press conference have been release, uncharted was never going to be release before this E3 and untill dawn still has a shot a releasing before E3, And I think let it die was another game i cant remember that other bloody game.

Now lets look at MS, neither halo nor tomb raider noe quantum brake, wich where their biggest hitters will come before E3, they are not even confirmed for this year, then the rest like crackdown and scalebound wich werent even planed for this year to beging with.

That to me sounds like a faliure of a presentation and they are on their way to do the same thing this year. You think people dont notice this? You think people will just brainlessly clap for them and love them seeing their cristmass box whyle the competition anounces more and delivers more around the year? I think your right about the anouncement thing, but E3 is more about news to me than updates about old news. Every new game anounced for the competition will count as more then double than new trailers of an old game.

And what was most forgotten is that nintendo was the very first to give a big NO to drm.

That's a bit leftfield considering the coonversation we were having.

LOL you can't be serious! It's not Microsoft's E3 to lose at all when it comes to expected games, it's most definitely Sony's. I mean when you list the potentials for each Sony's has a lot more potentials, mainly because their stuff hasn't had any gameplay from a previous event, besides Uncharted 4.

Now stuff we have a good idea of would be 1)Horizon (Guerrilla Games new IP, presumed in development at Amsterdam), a new 3)Killzone or 4)Resistance (either or both could be worked on by Guerrilla Cambridge). 5)God of War 4 or a restart of the series. 6)Gran Turismo 7, 7)Ratchet & Clank (this could be a huge Fall 2015 title, especially with the Movie Release happening around the same time), 8)Sly Cooper (is getting a movie release next year), 9)Media Molecule's New IP, 10)Quantic Dream's New IP.

11)Dinosaurum Game's new IP Without Memory. 12)The Last Guardian, 13)Agent.

14)Sony Bend's New IP, 15)Level 5's game, which could be a new Ni No Kuni, White Knight Chronicles or a new IP, 16)Gravity Rush 2, 17)Sony London (Maybe The Getaway or a full Heist game, 18)Sucker Punch.

Morpheus Games, which some of the above could potentially have Morpheus VR features built into, namely a full Heist game, Media Molecule's new IP, Gran Turismo 7, maybe Killzone or Resistance, possibly even Quantic Dream's new game.

For Microsoft the major new ones would be 1)Banjo, 2)Gears 4 or a refresh of the series, 3)Forza 6, 4)Kameo, 5)Scalebound, 6)Halo 5, 7)Crackdown, maybe 8)Phantom Dust, but that game's been getting a lot of negative info surrounding it, like it may have been canned or changing of developers, so it's probably way off from any potential release. 9)Battletoads.

Quantum Break has been shown several times already, people know what to expect from that already, same goes for Killer Instinct, it'll just be character and stage additions, it's not really a compelling new title like the ones mentioned above.

Halo 5 has had gameplay shown for it's multiplayer already, while it will be exciting to see single player gameplay, it's a game that has already had gameplay shown for the game.

Really Sony has about 2X the potential games, then there's also the stuff we really have no clue about, like 3rd party partnerships that happen on the quiet, both sides have those. There's also unknown new developers that both companies could have been building studios for in the background.

It's definitely Sony's E3 to lose out of both Sony and Microsoft.

Nintendo are an interested company, really we only know for sure that Zelda and Starfox are getting gameplay and some new details for those games, it's fair to say that the likes of Devil's Third, maybe Splatoon and Xenoblade could have something if they aren't released before E3. It's possible a new F-Zero, Metroid, core 3D Mario game are announced and potentially unveiled. Largely Nintendo's stuff will be a surprise.

Overall I think Sony has the most potential, simply because their devs have been quiet for a long time. Microsoft are actually the platform holder that has the least potential to show new games they've never announced before.

Nintendo could be next on my list and most gamers, because they seem to have a lot more potential surprises than Microsoft.

If past MS E3 conferences have taught us anything it's that they mainly focus on 3rd party games, so we can probably expect to see new stuff from EA, Activision. They'll put a lot of focus behind Halo, Tomb Raider and Forza 6, but we already know about that stuff coming and Tomb Raider isn't an exclusive to Xbox One, it's coming to 360 and it's also a timed exclusive, which will definitely be coming to PS4 and PC in 2016.

MS promises games to be shown at E3, but what they normally end up doing is showing 3rd party multiplats, announcing new games with CG, both Sony and Nintendo actually surprise with new announcements and mainly with gameplay and it's been the case for the last 5 E3s at the least, if not more since the beginning of the 7th gen.

Both Microsoft and Sony rely on third party and yes, I know that Sony has proven time and time again that despite having less studios that they can outdevelop Microsoft. Thats just this thing, Microsoft hasn't been fighting them with their studios but with outside third party and paying for them to develop not only their own IP's but new IP's. Its the smart way to go when they cant internally beat Sony at their own game. What I am saying is Microsoft is killing it with their games right now. Microsoft has the ability to stay quiet more easily than Sony because no one expects more from them. Everytime we see a leak its always at Sony. We know The Last Guardian trademark was found, we knew about Bloodborne before it was unveiled because it was leaked and we also knew about Until Dawn and I believe we knew about Helldivers was coming as well. With Microsoft we never knew about Scalebound or Sunset Overdrive until it was announced their E3's. Microsoft has a tighter lid than Sony. We know to expect God of War 4, Uncharted 4 footage, Guerillas new IP and most likely GT7 will be announced. Microsoft could have even more coming that hasnt even been mentioned yet. Forget about the fact that Sony's winning. Everyones looking at Sony because they are expecting new games from them regardless. I am saying in terms of exciting new games Scalebound, Quantum Break, Tomb Raider 2 and Halo 5 will have gameplay showcases as well reveals of Gears 4 is coming and Microsoft will more than likely will come with new announcements from outside studios that they've published games for. As long as they keep paying outside developers to keep bringing hits to their console exclusively they've got the edge even though they dont have the overall hype. The Nintendo Wii didnt have the major hype for their year in 2010, but with all of their reveals it was pretty much unanimous that Nintendo had won. I hadn't played a Nintendo console since the N64 and I admit that I was blown away. When I get the Wii U I am playing everything I missed from the Wii. As for the Wii U's reveals? I don't really know right now.
