I don't know who could buy Capcom, but I would love to see a new BoF game! That BS mobile game doesn't count btw.

Seeing how Microsoft has handled Rares, I doubt Microsoft would be the best option even though they are the most financially capable. They rely too much on outside devs so their control really only depends on their money.

Sony or Nintendo would be a better fit for Capcom games IP's if any of the companies were to get them. If they bought Street Fighter that would be the most insane news on the planet for the FGC. As much as the FGC are gaining respect for Killer Instinct Street Fighter on Sony would steal the show for them.

The thing is Capcom's IP don't have a big demand. You may like them. But your wish doesn't resonate with mass market demand.

Ghost n goblins

Rather than someone buying Capcom, I rather 3rd parties buy It's who we know would do justice to the It's.

E.G. Platinum games do Devil May Cry
From Software does Onimusha

i personally think... Is Monster Hunter and Resident Evil not large enough to bring a lot of money? And I think Sony would certainly develop a new Devil May Cry and Onimusha. But you're probably right, i dont know ^^
