Seeing how Microsoft has handled Rares, I doubt Microsoft would be the best option even though they are the most financially capable. They rely too much on outside devs so their control really only depends on their money.
Sony or Nintendo would be a better fit for Capcom games IP's if any of the companies were to get them. If they bought Street Fighter that would be the most insane news on the planet for the FGC. As much as the FGC are gaining respect for Killer Instinct Street Fighter on Sony would steal the show for them.
