How is it a rumor when someone on forums talk about it ? and xenoblade is only a month away from release..

Extremely doubtful. That would not be an impressive launch line up. I'd say a brand new Mario Kart is far more likely.

I guess Zelda and Xenoblade Chronicles could be possible launch titles... if their next console was pushed back for another 4 or 5 years. They're not going to make a new Zelda and Xeno that quickly. They don't just pump these things out. Good quality stuff takes time ; )

On some forums people didn't listen to what was said. There is nothing to say about it now, they will talk about it next year. meaning it comes earliest on holidays 2016. Also NX will be probably the next handheld.

By the time NX releases, these two titles would be at least a year old. I doubt they would be launch titles.

Assuming NX is a handheld and not a home console (Could be both), having a Monster Hunter game as launch title would make much more sense.

This rumor is based on nothing. Nintendo never leaked the NX name, no one ever made a mention of it, but now that they say it officialy, all of sudden we are supposed to believe that some ppl know about LoZU and XCX coming to the system. These rumors are made by ppl who have time to waste and are looking for attention.

Also, Iwata said they are hoping to share more info about NX next year. So best case scenario, they show off NX at E3 2016 and it launches for Fall2016. What is most likely going to happen tho imo, they briefly showoff NX at E3 2016, with only few concepts and ideas about what the gimmick will be (cause lets face it, it will have a gimick), they will try to sell us the idea of that gimick being the futur of gaming, no games showed, and the launch will be Fall 2017.

Either way, XCX is coming out next month in Japan, ZeldaU is scheduled for this Fall. They won't delay these games for more than a year (perhaps even two) to make the launch of NX. That's not saying they won't do a Sony and release a deffinitive edition once NX launchs, but Nintendo has no history of doing so, so there is no reason to believe for sure it will happen. And they would be no way these ''deffinitive editions'' be planned before the original games are finished, meaning that there is no way that info could have leaked to these rumor spreaders.

As for the poll, I think it will be backward compatible. I hope it will be but that would mean that the gamepad would have to work on NX. I think it will be because theyve always done it, but with competitors droping the idea in favor of their virtual catalogue, and with the obvious focus on the Virtual Consol for the futur, I would sadly not be surprised if it was'nt.

This poll makes zero sense as it assumes the NX is coming out soon, when all a person has to do is read what was said to know that's not the case. Nintendo said they won't even SAY anything else about the NX until next year at the soonest. Meaning Holiday 2016 is the absolute earliest it would come out, with mid to late 2017 being entirely likely as well. Remember, the Wii U was revealed nearly a year and a half before release so if they reveal NX at next year's E3 it still may not come out until Holiday 2017. So in other words, Zelda U and XCX will have been long released by any of those dates. If they came out on the new hardware they would be very belated ports, which would really make no sense.

Xenoblade Chronicles X releases in Japan next month and Zelda U will probably release worldwide this November. That would be a two year difference for Xenoblade Chronicles X and a year and a half difference for Zelda U. Why would anybody buy the games again unless they were considerable remasters?
