I'm not sure if it meant "only one mode" and rather that "4v4 is the only configuration."

Awesome, can't wait for this game to get released. I won't be using gyroscope, though. I hate that.

What we did get a couple of months ago that specified some unreleased information, which included no voice chat in random matches for example, cannot be taken as being "confirmed" for the game. A lot of people were put off by this. We'll need exact confirmation of the features until we share our thoughts about what we might think is "fact." All of this, again, leads into the fact that we haven't seen the game in months and have no further legit information from Nintendo themselves.

If Nintendo wants to go for the Hyrule Warriors route with DLC, they could monitor the demand of regional online play and release another online mode, say Team Deathmatch or Capture the Flag as DLC. Would this even be possible? I would hate to see Splatoon fall hard in its multiplayer after we, the consumers, hint multiplayer as a demanding feature.

If there is plans for deathmatch or capture the flag, I`d rather it be part of the game than as DLC. The latter I would not be okay with.

Really looking forward to the game! I'm glad that it's getting some positive feedback.

Exactly. I'm afraid that, with the information that released a couple of months ago that is still confusing to others, people are overwhelming themselves with disappointment or just possible misinformation. I'm sure that there will be more than one online mode at launch and hope there won't be too much major DLC aside from maps.

I'm more interested in seeing how Nintendo will implement the Splatoon Amiibo. 

I`m hoping Ninten sheds some more light on the game with more modes and extras. The game sounds great so far, but it could use more modes def. Pretty sure  other amiibo aside from Splatoon will be used. I`m curious what those will be, and what amiibo.

That's what I'm wondering.

My guess is set outfits such as MK8 where you get the costume of the Amiibo characters and then race with them. We do know that we can customize/accessorize our Inkling, so exclusive outfits could be a possibility.. as far as Splatoon Amiibo go? I have no idea.. Could possibly have something to do with saving data on them, since that's one of the big features of utilizing one.. but what could be so important to save data on your Inkling? Access to customizables?
