If there is plans for deathmatch or capture the flag, I`d rather it be part of the game than as DLC. The latter I would not be okay with.

Exactly. I'm afraid that, with the information that released a couple of months ago that is still confusing to others, people are overwhelming themselves with disappointment or just possible misinformation. I'm sure that there will be more than one online mode at launch and hope there won't be too much major DLC aside from maps.
I'm more interested in seeing how Nintendo will implement the Splatoon Amiibo.
