it will have another setting that is for sure, afterall that is what david jaffe originally had in mind for the franchise and seeing how all the greek gods are well...  dead then there is no other option than a new mythology, hopefully it will be the nordic one.

Hmmmm how do you mean? Like an open world setting with tasks for strangers, an honour system, an random events?

My only experience with this saga is beating God of War 3 and trying to beat Ascension but being unable to thanks to a game-breaking bug. With all that, I just found God of War to be good, nothing more than that (not a fan of hack n' slash games). If the next installment doesn't revamp itself in many ways, I'll just say that prettier graphics in a different mythology won't change my mind about the overall franchise, so I'm just going to say that the game won't be great.

its gonna be Epic!! imagine what they can do with the power of the PS4. not just visually but set pieces and monsters to fight. gonna be awesome yo!

1) norse / Egyptian lore
2) open central hub with dungeons like darksiders
3) rpg elements
4) better combat (darksiders had awesome combat)
5) longer sp campaign
6) side quests
7) no mp but maybe co-op
8) references to original trilogy where as you fight the gods they look into kratos's story to look for a solution to fight back the new hero / anti hero

Could be pretty awesome. Everyone wants them to shift protagonist, but with Kratos being so recognisable, would they really risk getting rid of him? Surely it would be akin to having a mainline Zelda game where you don't play as Link?

id say pretty much the same thing. Nothing really more you can do with the series imo

Probably better than most shooters outhere, because melee games are more diverse and have different enemies not just gunmen

I want Kratos in the next Age of Mythology. That's all. If they can make a canadian super-bear fight flying acid-puking purple hippos, they can have Kratos. Make it happen Microsoft.
