Forums - Sales - The Order 1886 sales nearly 600,000 copies in 2 days. #SmearCampaign=Failed

Sorry m8 those sales should quickly taper off. As for the "propaganda reviews", they are for the most part accurate. Game is not worth $60. Angry Joe said it best when he said it was more like a launch title tech demo than a game. It had so much potential but it could not deliver

well deserved should reach 1.2-1.5 by the end of the year maybe even more as this is totally looking to be bundled near BF/Holiday season

loking forward to the sequel

The game is not great... it is well good at best.

But I think it deserves sales and maybe a proper sequel can give us something better... it is the first RAD game so they can learn a lot yet.

There's been a lot of positivity around the game on Twitter. It will most likely do 1M LTD, which is good and will allow a sequel to be made. With the engine already done, this will allow them to make the sequel better - longer, more content and MP.

So, is this the new Destiny? Except this one won't sell an undeserved amount of copies?

I'm now filled with determination.

A good benchmark will be to see how quickly and how deeply the game is discounted.

I think The Order could be on par with the original inFamous, sales wise, and we all know that went on to be a fairly successful franchise.

Give it 2 months and those bargain bins will be heaving.

There is nothing wrong with liking a game that other people don't like, even a game that lots of other people don't like. In some instances it can even be a sign of maturity, that you are willing to make up your own mind about something without deference to the vox populi.

However calling people biased, particularly when it's against the majority, is extremely immature. People have different opinions and in the majority of instances it has nothing to with agenda and everything to do with simple preference.

Great news for a great game! The swear campaign by the media failed. This is great news because i have yet to talk to someone that diskliked the game.

There was no smear campaign. A smear campaign is a systematic, coordinated effort to ruin a reputation through slander and vilification.

There's no real evidence that reviewers or the media were attempting to ruin the game's reputation, it simply didn't meet the criteria by which they assess games.

This persecution complex in regards to Sony games has become absurd. There is no conspiracy, Sony just aren't outputting games that measure up to reviewer's standards.
