Wii in 2008 was crazy, but by March the number was insave... 600k to 800k all NPD with nothing. 2M during the holiday.

PS4 will never sell as this level.

The Wii had that spontaneous effect that consoles rarely get. Yes, PS4 is a great selling console but PS2 and Wii were in realms of their own.

updated with some of the adjustments ioi did. ps4 crossed 2.1 mill for 2015. pretty damn good. the wii is still about 800,000 ahead. i think there's still some more adjustments ioi needs to do for 2015 though.

Sony confirmed +20,200,000 PS4 sold by end of February, VGChartz have PS4 at 20,340,000.

Still amazing sales, but can't compete with the Wii in 2008... i think PS4 can close the Wii numbers in 2017.
