No danger there. I doubt any game will ever beat my favorite games by genre. Mainly because they don't make games like my favorite games anymore.

Of course! Currently my favorite game is Metroid Prime (it's been my favorite for a LONG time now), but nothing has surpassed it yet, imo. Bioshock came REALLY close, however. So did Super Mario Galaxy. And Super Metroid.

Sure, although my favourite game doesn't change too often. It has been Super Metroid for a while before being topped by Metal Gear Solid 3. It could happen again in the future if I play a game I like that much.
