Zelda! I'm new to the series but I've never delved so fast into a franchise before. It's overwhelming yet marvelous.
Ooh... Mega Man or Metal Gear... I'll have to pick Metal Gear but Mega Man would be a close second.
I guess Pokemon, but that might change depending on how much they going to milk it in the next few years.

It was a tough choice... Because there's two other franchises up there.
Current gaming platforms - Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, New 3DS, PC
REEEAAALLLY really close between Zelda and Pikmin...but I don't think anything will ever beat Zelda. So yeah, Zelda.

Yep, I started playing it in 2014 and now I can't get enough. MM3D is already becoming my 2nd favorite in the franchise, and I only just beat the 1st dungeon.
I get what you're saying. Though I think it can be applied to any form of media, especially when you marathon it. Also, a franchise is almost always its most fresh and exciting when you first play it. Wind Waker was my first Zelda and it was absolutely magical. Nothing else like it. I don't think that exact feeling will ever be recreated, but I appreciate the other games for different reasons! 
I think Zelda U will be one of the most otherworldly gaming experiences ever. It'll be epic.
Skyward Sword is pretty great. Hopefully they do decide to give it an eShop release!

I guess I will have to go with Zelda,
though Super Mario and Fire Emblem are only a few examples that could possibly be chosen.

This horrible situation is still ongoing up to this day, though for the last 6 months or so it's been slowly fading away. I mean, I totally beat both TLOZ and ALttP so far this year and am crazy about playing MM3D next week, but... I dunno, there's still a certain magic that's not there anymore. I think I just need something fresh. I think once Zelda Wii U comes out this whole thing will be shattered and I'll get back to feeling the same way I did in the past.
