Admits he's a slow player and didn't really keep track of his playtime. Sounds just like a neogaf post.

10 hours from another reviewer, who, like the previous one I gave you, does not sound like a neogaf post.

So, it could easy last 11-12 hours.

Quality Over QuantityThe Order's alleged length has come under scrutiny before release, after a YouTube user published a set of walkthrough videos that only lasted approximately 5 hours to complete the game. In my time with The Order, I did find it a bit on the short side--I finished in under 10 hours--but I felt utterly satisfied. I'd rather play a fantastic 10 hours rather than a mediocre 20. That time was spent experiencing a thoroughly enjoyable story, and left plenty of room for exploring items and collectibles that round out the world.''http://www.shacknews.com/article/88195/the-order-1886-review-uncharted-territory |
Ok so that's a main story + extras playthrough.

Don't know : ''and left plenty of room for exploring items and collectibles that round out the world.''
Maybe my english comprehension :) left plenty of time for exploring would mean what you suggested. But left plenty of room for exploring items ? So it could take longer right ?

The 10 hours included experiencing the full story and exploring items + collectibles.
The sites who finished in 6-8 hours did what? A speedrun? No
You might want to look at the thread title again.
This is not a thread to talk about the game's length.

jlmurph asked a question and I replied. Easy.

This game isn't even 24fps? Pff, the game is totally not cinematic enough! |
I am just glad they did not try pushing for 60fps. At twice the framerate, that would have made the game only 2.5 hours long.

Tell that to Eurogamer & Digital Foundry. LOL

Yeah, I think they mentioned it simply because the topic is in that "elephant in the room" space where everyone feels obligated to speak on it regardless of the context.
