This game isn't even 24fps? Pff, the game is totally not cinematic enough!

I am just glad they did not try pushing for 60fps.  At twice the framerate, that would have made the game only 2.5 hours long.

Why you should be glad ? Most probably you don't even own a PS4, judging from your several silly comments.

Back on Topic :

''Where The Order: 1886 excels, arguably beyond any game released to date, is production values. The graphics and art design are outstandingly good. The cinematics are rendered entirely in-engine, so the transition to gameplay is seamless. From the gritty slums of Whitechapel to the holy Palace of Westminster, Victorian-Era London has been meticulously crafted down to the finest detail. Throughout the game, Galahad will come across items of interest. Players can pick up these items and examine them using the left stick. It’s here where the game’s incredible level of detail truly shines. An object as simple as an apple or pamphlet, to more complex items like a weapon or gadget, all look photo-realistic. Whether it’s character models, animations, environments, lighting or textures, the visuals are quite simply superb. ''

Is it really necessary to analyze an 800p 30fps game?

Do own a PS4.  Will buy the Order eventually.

Just trying to add some humor to people getting stressed out about reviews for a game.  People take these things WAY to seriously.

When it looks better than anything on PC, X1 and WiiU ?   Yes, it is necessary ;)

THIS should be London? Maybe after 99,9 % of its citizens died...

NO WAY - THIS IS NOT NEXT-GEN.

Seems those netbook cores are having a hard time driving any serious amount of AI while at the same time the GPU is spitting out bling-bling at 30fps...

Is it really 800p?

Fundamentally, it all comes back to the point we made in our 2014 gaming round-up - graphics are evolving at a breakneck pace, but gameplay remains rooted very much in the last generation. And perhaps what disappoints the most with The Order: 1886 is that this imbalance is actively tipping in the wrong direction - where the emphasis on the graphical glory actively seems to come at the expense of the quality of the gameplay.

WORD

The best graphics of next gen by the sounds of it. Infamous and driveclub have been dethroned!

If you take away the black bars, yeah, it has a vertical pixel count of 800 (1920x800). The total pixel count is a tad above 900p though.
