knack, infamious and now the Order look better. Ryse lacks particle effect as its build with last gen in mind

Bloodborne will be the best looking game when it will come out

Hahaha, obvious answer! It's almost like a reflex.

It's just much easier to speak the truth when one knows it, is all.

Idk.  Seemed like plenty of journalists were set out to hate the Order from the beginning.  I think it may have also ticked them off that the game was still seemingly getting preordered, even with all their negativity.  Might have been why quite a few sites latched onto any bad rumors they heard about it in the past few days.

Just illustrates why I think many sites sites are starting to die, though.  People are getting tired of the clickbait.

I can't imagine why you'd have doubts? I can hardly tell apart myself

Do we have to point to the obvious again? One is 900p, the other one is 1080p. I don't know how anyone can miss that...

Do we know yet that BB is definitely 1080p?

It's pretty much confirmed and was at that at gamescom but fps still needed a lot of work.

Both bad game's.

Have you even played one of them...

People disliked both games for the same reason and not because they were exclusives. I hope the industry finally gets the message: stop prioritizing cinematic experience, people want games, not movies.

No, Ryse got bad reviews because it was a genuinely bad game. This is coming from someone who defended it before it came out. Granted I only played it for an hour or two before returning it but after 15 minutes it had already become stale and repetitive so I don't imagine that it got much better later on.

The reviews are in and The Order 1886 stands at a metascore of 65 barely five point higher than Ryse Son of Rome's 60 which we should take off given that the latter was a launch title.

Both games hyped from the beginning to extreme proportions.

The only merit to either game was their beautiful graphics and they suffered from to many quick time events boring story and imited gameply variety and length.

After Dying light and Evolve being disappointments this is just one more for the pile.

I just hope Bloodborne does not follow the trend.

REALLY?!  I called it.  After all the talking down before launch now that we're close people are saying it was hyped.  You can't have a game with this many negative articles and then say it's overhyped.  People's expectations were generally around this score.  Everyone was crapping on it what did you expect for them to change their minds magically when it came to review time?  TPS cover based shooters apparently have a tougher standard.  Hopefully they're just as tough on the next big TPS and don't give it a pass for being an iteration on an existing franchise.

is there a possibility of failure?  Do your inputs effect the outcome?  Sure Heavy Rain and GoW are different but they're both games.  The player still effects the game just like you can die or advance in the Order.

I enjoyed Ryse and I will also enjoy The Order.
