Forums - Gaming - Playstation on X1?

Well hear me out: If Sony licenses Playstation Now to Windows 10, since that will probably become a huge platform quite fast, will it be possible for MS to put Playstation Now on X1 since is in essence will run Windows 10? I have no idea how these things work, but the thought came up so why not share it with the rest of you? :)

I'm pretty sure Windows 10 and Xbox are different licenses. It will only end up on Xbox if Sony wants it to.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I don't see this happening as I also don't see it happen that emulators find an official way to the Xbone but Sony better do anything to make PSNow as widespread as they can. Putting it in TVs is a start (especially in Samsungs...) but they only support this year's version and not the old ones.
They better make it on Windows, IOS, Android and some custom hardware like their own to make it a success.

Xbox players wouldn't be interested anyway. Sony only make interactive movies, not like the real games on Xbox

No problem, near 40m tv sold a year in USA.  Around 240m a year world wide.

I guess there are even crazy people on Xbox who perhaps want to play a game from dawn to midday. Perhaps not that much... But gladly there are also multiplats on PSNow which could save the service.

But how many are from Samsung?

It would be a troyan horse in every xbox.
You play the last of us on xbox and then you want the sequel and you are forced to buy a ps4.
Also sony would have a way to reach 100% marketshare with their old games.
So basically : more publicity to their games and more money for sony.
I'm not sure ms wants that.

Well, you could always wait for the sequel, of course, as in the end it will eventually come to the service. So you don't need to ever buy a new device for it and can go with the games that come for Xbone. Not the worst situation one can be in, right?

Probably not even a possibility. Sort of would be an abomination too.

Imagine if back in the 90's, Nintendo released a new version of the SNES that could play Genesis games. Even if they got permission from Sega, how logical does that sound?
