Ubisoft has nothing to do with how South Park turned out. Another company would've published it if Ubisoft didn't.

Yeah, that's the problem, people still buy their games en masse.

Still don't understand the Ubisoft hate though. Watchdogs, Valiant Hearts, FarCry 4 and Child of Light were all good games. I don't care for the terrible "low budget game" nonsense arguments either in case anyone brings that up. Valiant Hearts was a great title. Games do not need to be $40-$60 releases to be included as part of a developers accomplishments throughout the year.

Is Sony a terrible company due to Driveclub issues? Is Microsoft Studios terrible due to Master Chief Collection issues?

You can't tear down an entire company based on one project from one of their studios.

 

I'm sure the hatred originates from much deeper than just Assassin's Creed and some micro transactions.

What is the point of this comment? Are people not allowed to voice their opinion? The same "internet" people are the same people out in the world.I find Uni's games to be poorly designed even though they have some good concepts.everyone is entitled to say what they want about a game or company they support.I loved Skyrim,but it was a broken mess.

@bolded. No they're not. The internet is not representative of "people out in the world". The internet tells you that Fifa and COD suck, while Persona and Bayonetta are the bomb. While I, personally, agree with the internet in this regard (I think Persona and Bayonetta are both quality franchises that deserve more sales), I fully realize that most people/gamers don't think this way. Most gamers have never even heard of Persona and don't give a damn about EA's and Ubisoft's practices. If they like a game, they buy it. End of story. The "internet" has a tendency to over-crticize or over praise games. If Ubisoft were to listen to most things that internet people say, they'd lose tons of money. Yes, broken games are a terrible thing, but that doesn't mean the game itself is not great or that that takes away everything they have done right.

As for you finding Ubi games poorly designed, fair enough. That's your opinion and you have every right to express it. But when someone doesn't agree with you, they have every right to say so.

I disagree, I think The Crew, AC and WD deserve the hate they get. WD ran very poorly for me. Graphics were even purposly downgraded for pc.

You are right about the crew.  But watch dogs was absolutely fine on ps4.

Looks like vgchartz numbers are pretty close to accurate.

Total sales for Unity, WatchDogs, Far Cry 4, The Crew, Just Dance 15, Rayman Legends, and Black Flag were
11.4mil on ps4 and 6.6mil on xb1. That means the ps4 sold 72.7% more games according to vgchartz.

According to ubisoft ps4 is at 34% and xb1 is at around 21.5%(20% for non holiday months 23% for holiday months) for the full year. That means the ps4 sold 58% more games for the year.

its interesting also how child of light shouldnt be considered as something ubisoft did right. but we should hold their 15$ tetris game against them.
