If Halo 5 releases in September as is currently being rumoured, they have a great chance at winning the last 4 months of the year if Sony don't play it right

A September release would probably be smart if they could pull it off. I'm not sure going head to head against Call of Duty in November is an amazing idea.

Current gaming platforms - Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, New 3DS, PC

I hope Sony responds with price cuts and bundles galore... They still probably lose regardless, but its a win for the customer.

I would imagine a price cut would come after E3 or during Gamescom; considering Samsung's new 20nm is cheaper. Microsoft most likely will drop the price soon after either or; which will set up a more competitive holiday season. In all likelihood, it will be Uncharted vs. Guardians with bundles. Going to be interesting come those times, but for now, I want to see the PS4 fend off the New 3DS with Majora's Mask.

So technically VGChartz overtracked Wii U... again.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Wow 600k less hardware and still outselling the competition in terms of software, good to see XBOX fans take pride in those attach rates.

Good news for the Wii U.

Destiny showed last year that the right software in September can lead to fantastic sales. If MS can do it I think they will, but they will equally not want to rush it out if it isn't ready, not after MCC.
