That isn't a feminist. Feminists want social, economical and political equality to men. Shes sexist.

Sadly, I think you'll find an awful lot of extremism in the modern "feminist" movement. A scary amount, actually. That is hardly to say that all self-identifying feminists are man-haters, or that they are extreme or want anything more than actual social equality. However, MANY of them, the "vocal minority", if you will, are extreme and it gets rather disgusting.

Modern feminism in many ways bears little resemblence to the first two movements that actually fought for something good, and DID some good. There is too much ugliness, I think, associated with this new movement, largely thanks in part to the internet age and social media. I know for a fact that I don't like it. It would be nice if modern "feminism" were a genuinely more nobel movement, as a whole, but unfortunately, that's not the way it seems to be going.

I absolutely respect women, as a straight man, and believe in social equality for all. But that's why I consider myself an Egalitarian, not a Feminist. I believe ALL people, regardless of sex, ethnicity, etc., deserve equal treatment. In ALL things. We need to grow up, as a race, as a civilization, and grow beyond obsessions over gender, skin color, etc. That certainly would be nice..........

No true scotsman fallacy.

Huffington Post are a respected news website afaik. Plus it's a blogger who has been blogging a fair bit.

Are you really trying to prove to yourself it's fake?

Er... no. Just pointing out that the Huffington Post (which is mostly an aggregator and posts dodgy stories all the time) didn't do any footwork on this. They just C&Ped some quotes and wrote some text around it. Their posting this doesn't say anything about its veracity.

I support this, though only because I don't think someone like that should be having any kids...

I agree.

she isn't a feminist she's a feminazi...this article puts feminists in an extremely bad light but in reality we should all be feminists. also I don't really understand why this story's getting as much publicity as it is, this shit happens in china all the time except it's female foetuses that are aborted, so much so that there's now a ratio of 120 men to every 100 females

nervous systems, memories/information...

a bunch of cells with nothing formed is not a human.

nervous systems are formed by cells... memories and information are intangible, also i'm quite sure that foetuses have both memories and information

nervous systems are formed by SPECIFIC CELLS. And memories are quite tangible, or would you say an empty shell of a body is a human?

there's no such thing as modern feminism. feminism was, is and always will be about equal rights to both genders. manhating was, is and always will be man hating, wich has nothing to do with feminism.

It's funny cause she wanted to prevent a supposed "monster" to born, but turned herself into one.

Sounds like a cliche RPG plot. :p

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won
