The last big update was back in october with 2.0 and they had to release a few days after 2.1 because 2.0 had many failures. Since then only stability improvements that IMO are starting to get annoying have been made.

Many features are missing (some of them Xbox One already got with last updates) like notifications for when a friend is online or goes offline, external HDD support to install games because of how small the default ps4 hdd is, being able to set any image downloaded by yourself as wallpaper, support to read videos and music from external devices (specially mkv and mp3/mp4 formats) etc.

Do you think PS4 is getting features too slow? Wich features would you like to see on the next big update and when do you think they'll release it?

Not at all. It has all the features I need. Yes xbox have some ps4 doesn't but it's also missing some features ps4 has that are more important to gamers

I have been saying this for a while now. Yes I feel the PS4 is slow with the updates but in a way I also understand why they aren't rushing them out.

None of the features lacking right now are things that would make someone not buy a ps4. And while its easy to list out things that the XB1 has or now has, there are a lot of things that are way more important to gamers that the PS4 always/now has that still haven't come to the XB1.

I really would wish that the PS4 gets more and more features thrown in, I've just stopped expecting miracles to happen. Or accept that most of the things we would want aren't integral to making the best gaming console possible. Which is clearly where Sony's focus is. 

as for features, funny thing is that the PS4 already does almost everything I want it to do. all I need now is video playback support from internal/external HDD. that's it.

XB1 have had an update each month true, but has these updates actually brought you new Features?  other then media?

No, most of these updates was due for all their 180s and stuff, they have actually been removing more features then giving the XB1 new features.

... go back to pre-release PS4 and look at what they promised, we should be there now and they should be expanding on that. Instead we arent even close to it yet and it doesnt look any closer than we did at launch.

Yes it is, I don't get how the ps4 doesn't have native mp3 support snd Dlna yet.

I pretty much have all the feature I know I want. So any future features will be ones I only know I want once I have them.

I do not have internet so not sure any updates would affect my experience.
