If the movie wouldnt have happened harry potter wouldnt be sucessfull in the first place. Glad they didnt waste any money on that

Imagine if Harry Potter would have gotten the Goldeneye treatment.. It's a shame Nintendo wouldn't something like this nowadays! :/

She was right to turn down Nintendo though if they wanted complete rights to the franchise as a whole, that would've been silly as Nintendo is just a game company.

EDIT: Apparently the deal was 1 million pounds for the rights to the first four movies. So I'm guessing she obviously got a much fatter take of the later films. 

But yeah in hindsight, Nintendo should just throw $5 million at her and grabbed the rights to the entire franchise ... they missed out on a goldmine.
