Two things thats been bugging me for a while. 

When you click on post/views/date in a forum, it sorts everything only on the first page, once you click page 2 it doesn't continue it on. Also for me anytime I ever click those options they don't go back to latest post it stays as most views or post etc until I delete my cache for the site, then it goes back to normal.

That is a good point. The site cookies seem to go into meltdown whenever you do this, which on mobile is particularly frustrating.

Chuck a link at the bottom of every post to go back to top of page.

Also, if possible, change the order in which the page loads. If you go into a thread where you've read a number of posts, it can take a while to anchor to last read post while waiting for "around the network" and adjacent advert to load. Load the posts first, then everything else.

EDIT: btw, Truck's new avatar seems to fit "The Truck Stop" so well. Whole thing just reminds me of those "naughty" calendars that 40yo women buy for charity.

I don't know if it's a bug or a problem of mine but when I try to go into one of the threads featured in the Hot Topic section from the main page (vgchartz), it always directs me to the first post of that thread, not the last unread post.



Please excuse my bad English.

Requests:

  • Block User - Block a specific user so that you don't see their posts (obviously you would still see if someone quoted them).
  • Activity Feed - Update the activity feeds in the Dashboard so that they aren't showing outdated information.
  • Opening Links - Update the links that are in posts to open in a new tab/window by default. For instance, this link to Google will open in the same window, taking us away from VGChartz. It is kind of annoying.

When posting with the "Rich Text Reply" option, you can already choose if you want the links to open in the same window or a new one, although be default is "-not set-", which would leave the action to how your browser deals with links.

Currently, the weird formatting removes the target _blank. So this link: Google.com will still not open a new window even if I selected the option.
