Wii U down again?

That sucks... I mean, the Wii U is really great because of it's exclusives...

Take this with a grain of salt, but, did you ever think that the Wii wasn't designed to compete with the PS3 and 360 but the Wii U was?

the Wii def was not designed to compete, but i hope the 2nd part isnt true because that would be dumb

It is quite dumb in retrospect.  The Wii U does share a few games with PS3 and 360 but it's more likely Nintendo competes with itself now.

The PS4 is unstoppable. Poor Wii U :/ I'll help but until they release a Zelda or Xenoblade bundle.

WiiU just cannot catch a break. It just seems to me that whoever wanted it ready has it, and that any game that comes out will not boost its numbers much. Their best chance at increase is a decent price drop paired with some solid third party aimed at kids (LEGO, Disney, cartoon tie-ins).

The Wii U's games just aren't as big this year as MK8 & Smash.  Zelda will be the biggest IMO.  Mario Maker, Splatoon, Kirby, Party etc. aren't going to make big waves.  Xenoblade is going to sell well to it's fans, but you have to ask, would people who consider any of this year's games have a Wii U already?  I think they would.

Also a headwind against Wii U is it's quite poorly represented in some stores like Best Buy, with very patchy availability of systems and games.

$250 is very expensive for a dedicated portable gaming system, especially in the current economical and social landscape - regardless of what you personally believe. It's why 3DS flopped hard after launch, and Nintendo dropped its price to $170. And make no mistake, 3DS was doing extremely poorly prior to its pricecut. That's not even mentioning Vita. You do not decide what's expensive and what's not, the market does. That's perceived value.

I am seeing $122 on Amazon for the 3DS.

The problem is that exclusives alone won't make a console sell well... :/

Why is 3DS up in USA/Europe with New 3DS being announced and coming in 3 weeks?

Well there are people that associate world with USA.

So I've herad ;p lol

Naah, nobody associate  world with USA; but sure some XBox fans only talk about USA because it's the only place where there's still competition between PS4 and X1; they sure avoid to talk about Europe, where PS4 is crushing X1, or Japan, where X1 is dead, or Germany, where X1 is completely owned by PS4; they  only talk about UK and USA because they feel better, but not because they associate the World with USA;  they would like you do believe that only NA really matters, but the reality is that the user base for PS4 in Europe is roughly the same as the PS4 user base in NA, while PS4 user base in Europe is BIGGER than the X1 user base in NA !!!!!!! Mark my words ;)    And I don't even want to talk about the User Base in Europe, Japan and Rest of the World combined, or Global ;)

Globally in USA is a very serious bussiness.
