Lol, there is nothing wrong with the name Xbone. That's pretty much what I'm using.
Lol at people saying XBone is "childish" or "offensive"
Every Xbox is abbreviated "XB", whether it be the original, the 360, or the One. Not "X". It's two syllables. Imagine if people were trying to abbreviate the Playstation to just "P". The P1, P2, P3, and P4.....
Anyway, since the 360 and One are successor consoles, we go by how it's stylized, after "XB".
The 360 logo wasn't "Xbox Three Sixty" and the One logo isn't "Xbox 1". It's "Xbox 360" and "Xbox One".
So Xbox 360 --> XB360 and Xbox One --> XBOne.
People saying it's "childish" are just salty that it just so happens to be funny looking. But hey....I didn't pick the name. I'm just following precedent.
Or, it can just be called "the One" in the way the 360 was called..."the 360". I think if someone refers to "the One", on a video game forum, everyone would understand the context. But I don't see anyone ever doing that......

XBone seems like a term used by trolls. I used to use it, but I actually like my X1. Speaking of X1, that is how I typically refer to it.
Yes, I am lazy! =P

So that's what people were thinking when the term Xbone became popular around E3 2013? No
Its a childish jab that trolls have conditioned themselves into using nonstop. Even after the numerous X1 policy changes that people wanted its still believed that MS is "boning" their customers.
X1 when writing. (or possibly XB1).
Xbone when thinking.
Xbox one when talking.
XB1 or XBO, that how I always write depending on my mood. Xbone is kinda offensive I agree.

Kowenicki does

My prediction threads:
Wii U will sell under 40m units (made on 14th September 2012)
PS Vita will sell under 20m units (made on 30th September 2012)
Wii U will sell under 7m in 2013 - I was right
XBO!
"The One" sounds ridiculously pretentious.
