And look, both are coming to WiiU! What a lucky coincidence!

I tend not to go looking for obscure upcoming titles for consoles I do not own. ;)

while I liked Apocalypse I personally am more interested in a reimagination of the first Motorstorm, one that comes closer to the first CG trailer
i think price has a lot to do with.. to make a race game worth 60 bucks.
I mean I love Ski-Doo Challenge and games like Wave Racer.. but to spend 60 bucks on them.. nope.. not anymore..
Look at Need for Speed the Run vs Most Wanted.. huge difference in value..
we already complain when there are just 150 cars in Forza..

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

I think Forza Horizon has replaced PGR
@OP - Racing is hard to innovate on but the ones I like are Forza Motorsports, Forza Horizon, ModNation Racers, and Mario Kart.
I think Forza Horizon is the best racing game ive played in years. ModNation i actually prefer over Mario Kart because it feels more like Diddy Kong Racing. Im not a big fan of the rubber band effect on Mario Kart while MNR is more skilled.
The reason i like Forza Motorsport is because i feel it is hands down the best racing simulator which i enjoy. It adds more customization than games like Need for Speed Shift and Gran Turismo and offers people options that makes the game a little more arcadey if they dont like straigh up sims. If you want a straight up sim, just turn off all assists, but for the more casual people, theyre is plenty of options to help them too. Plus paint is amazing.
I cant find a picture of my Gears of War car -_- So i will be revisiting this thread once i get a picture of it again. But here is my Fallout car in Forza Horizon 2
I'm not a big racing game fan but I'll say a number recently have bored me with their whole unlocking and upgrading thing and have annoyed me with their long and boring plots dialogue and crap. Get me I to a race.
I think we have enough variety. Fun racers and simulations. On 360 I really enjoyed PGR, Forza and Forza Horizon to go with exclusives.

I hope not, the games feel completely different imo and there's room for both. I don't think Microsoft owns the studio that makes the PGR games, do they own the PGR IP? Wondering if the hopes of a new entry in the series has to go by them.

Mircosoft does own the PGR IP and the studio that made all the PGR games Bizarre Creations went out of business on the 18th of Februarry 2011.
