"Its been better but its still good".

Regarding the big games, last year we had Mario Kart 8, Forza Horizon 2 and DriveClub. 3 big games with different racing purposes. Needless to say that MK8 and FH2 turned out pretty great; many even consider MK8 to be the best of the series. Regarding DriveClub, despite the initial mess, the game turned out to be pretty good; and if you stop to analyze it does many things amazingly well. Hell, that probably was my most played game last year.

This year we'll have PCars 2, a new Need for Speed and probably more unnanounced games.

EDIT: Forza 6 too! Forgot about it (and maybe, just maaaaaybe, Gran Turismo in some sort).

Didn't know NFS was confirmed for 2015.  Also didn't realize they've been coming out with one every year, hopefully they come out with something really special with the extra year.

It's not 100% official yet, but everyone consider it very likely since last year we haven't got the usual NFS game. EA is said to be giving more time and resources for the development of new NFS games. That's a great thing and we'll probably see the results this E3.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

I dislike how most modern racers are overly realistic to the point of not being fun anymore.

That's why I'm so interested in titles like FAST Racing Neo and 90s Arcade Racer, they seem to offer a breath of fresh air.

To me racing genre is pretty much racing sims. They try to be more realistic while less enjoyable.

I miss the arcadey nature of the games.

Diddy Kong Racing Returns. Please. Deer. God.

I'll take a new F-Zero, too.

Personally I;m disappointed with it;s current state, there hasn't been a racing game that's really interested me the same way Burnout Paradise did last gen, most if not all the ones that have come and are coming have no sway on me, the genre feels about as dead to me as the RTS genre currently is.

I suppose the only racing game to have some slight possible sway on me is Mario Kart but even then it would only get a few playthroughs and then remain unplayed for the rest of time.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

My favourite Racing Game is Grand Theft Auto 5. I'm not kidding.

Bring back Burnout, PGR and Rollcage ....

I'd also like and F1 game that's not buggy and laggy online

Burnout Paradise is the last racing game that i loved. I get bored with most racing games anymore.

As an arcade racing fan I agree. SEGA at least tried and spawned two nice Sonic Racing games. But that's pretty much it. The fun racers that have been released during the last years were just license crap and even if they sometimes play well, they are no real great games that make you come back again.
I'm also let down since Blur (and Split/Second) but I didn't even like Blur a lot after they changed the balancing after people rated the beta version. The beta was awesome but the final game couldn't keep up for me due to the changes. They probably just listened to the majority of beta players and thought they could make more money that way.
The titles that are still around as THE racing games don't feel as great as they used to for me in previous generations.

That's why I'd love to see a new Diddy Kong Racing. And I don't even mean the real sequel, just that I want a game with the modes it had and a few techniques (let go off gas, barrel rolls, etc. Even Mario Kart HAD interesting techniques in the past while DS was just about killing your dpad and 8 is about killing your jump button) that separate the fun friends and competitive crowd and keeping it tactical between those groups and not just a war of items that determines the final standings.

And I definitely miss Burnout.

It's been better, but despite all the problems, DriveClub turned out to be really good. I'm still playing it daily since release. The 5 completely new tracks set in Japan are top quality. The amount of free DLC has been great. Amazing content for an arcade racer, now with 35 unique tracks, 76 variants.

I hope more track based racers make a come back. Burnout, Wipeout, Colin McRae, Rally Championship, PGR, all sorely missed. And a new Motorstorm please.
