I love this forum for all the love it shows Metroid. It makes me feel like Samus is part of the holy Ninty Trinity and not the seemingly 3rd tier title that its sales would suggest. I love this forum for the good number of users who have been gaming as long or longer than I have who remember the NES days as cutting edge, and not just because they're old school.

I love this forum because people call others out...and then brohug in the next thread.

I love this forum because it allowed me to be a part of E3 and see a side of the industry I never thought I would.

I love this forum because the users are willing to discuss everything from Russia to feminism and everything in between.

I love this forum because people actually care enough to make "I love this forum because..." threads.

Yeah, this has been the first forum I joined and the only other one is huge but it's always nice thatso many discussions are talked about rather than be completely ignored. It's small but still active which I like.

Plus, I came from Youtube where it is almost impossible to have a reasonable coversartion without just insulting the other person so this was a huge step up from those experiences.

I've no idea what you mean with #2. Had nothing but trouble with the mod team.

Also I wouldn't say this site is particularly small. It's probably slightly larger than average, but compared to some sites yeah it's small.

Seems the same to be as many. That's not a good or bad thing really, it is what it is. If I didn't like it I wouldn't come back. Certainly not a bad community at all.

I agree completely with all of your points. the community is small but memorable. the discussion seems to be more intellectual and developed than other sites, and i think part of the reason is the fact that this forum is based upon sales rather than upon other factors. also, I feel like all of you have great taste in gaming, especially based upon the the top 50 games list that occurred this past year..

I can't stand huge communities like Gaf, the size here is pretty perfect for my tastes.

VGChartz is my favorite forum so far, so I can agree. The Community is awesome here, full of interesting personalities, awesome mods, and is pro-gay
