Forums - Sales Discussion - Weekly Hardware Chart, 17th January 2015

Is it weird that the software is up but not the hardware? It seems like the hardware and software are both posted at the same time usually.

It's really amazing that both Minecraft's on the xbox consoles are still topping the US software charts.

Proud to be a Californian.

Why would hardware sales be so high but software sales so low? Are people buying consoles without any games??

PS4 had Last of us bundle with every ps4 effect?

oh i thought the hardware number you posted was usa only

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

Not bad numbers considering it's January

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

so it looks like lord litchenstein didn't lose last week in the end!

software is over tracked. he's likely under tracking them now until they fit the right numbers again. 2 wrongs make a right!

It still feels weird that we're so far behind. The numbers look like what you'd expect.
