Not upset. just not convinced its worth it.
Holy shit. Now i see why some people believe videogame industry is in danger :s I love consoles but perhaps they should disappear if they make people love them up to the point of becoming blind...

Do you think consoles could have online like the PC? The PC is different because it isn't unified.
Would you really be content with PS2 like online multiplayer?

Because it's not good enough to be worth extra cost. |
So would you be OK with PS2 like online if it were free?
... I dont even pay for PS+ for the online =P
Ive been paying since late into the PS3 life where I would recieve a bunch of awesome games, PS4 isnt quite there yet but bundled along with the PS3 and PSV games I still find it worth my money =D
It's 10.9m PS Plus subscribers according to the most recent PR.
Sony were clever, and rather fortunate in the way they managed to reveal their subscription price plan. It was essentially masked in the middle of an extremely positive conference- almost a side note- as they kept the spotlight on the lack of DRM, a focus on games and ultimately the $399 price tag. They had the goodwill of gamers in their hands at that point, and I think the lack of coverage in the media was a reflection of the careful planning and the luck Sony had with timing. Although I do remember there were still a few articles posted about the issue.

I never played PS2 online, so I can't say.
I'm happy with Wii U online for no extra cost.
The quality of online services certainly differed when XBL had a cost and PSN was free. I'd like to think the paid service made that difference.
Current gaming platforms - Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, New 3DS, PC
MS showed that it is okay to pay for online, people were willing to pay for it but they also showed Sony that people werent willing to accept DRM. Ms took advantage of early online subs while Sony took advantage of the DRM situation.
