as the numbers land right now xb did 7.6 M in 2014 and would need to do 14.3M in 2015. that's a really big jump YoY.
a 50% YoY increase is much more reasonable meaning 11.4M in 2015 and a LTD of 22.1.

I predict that it won't double it's current numbers.

That would be awesome if it made it to 24 million but its improbable. XOne should look alot better than last year with a couple great looking exclusives this year as well as your typical yearly releases. Seeing as how MS is moving in the right direction and acting very competitive against Sony, XOne could sell realistically about 10 million this year which is actually really good for a second place console that is above $299. An optimistic view would be 24 million but optimistic doesn't mean wrong.
unless microsoft starts giving them away (which at this rate is possible), probably not. 19-21m.
I believe the X1 will outsell the 360 and XBox will remain a strong power in the industry because of it.
That said, they would need a few megatons at E3 to pull off 25mil at 2015's end.
That is bold. You are expecting it to increase its yearly sales by 75% and almost reach what the PS4 sold in 2014.
Not happening.
Won bet with t3mporary_126 - I correctly predicted that the Wii U's LTD at the end of 2014 would be closer to 9 million than 10 million. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=6673287
Maybe 22 million if they are very aggressive with the price again in the US around the holidays.
No way will XBone sell 14 million this year, unless maybe if the price goes all the way down to $300.
