That's just cross play on multiple platforms with multiplayer. Playstation Now is a sony product and Sony is Nintendo's biggest competitor. I don't know if Nintendo would agree to have a sony's games streaming service on their console.

Honestly it would be a brilliant marketing move IF Nintendo allowed it, which they wouldn't.



Prediction for console Lifetime sales:

Wii:100-120 million, PS3:80-110 million, 360:70-100 million

I don't get why people think Nintendo would not allow this? They only have something to gain from this move. Sony would be the ones that are giving up exclusivity of their titles, and potential hardware sales.

The issue is Nintendo wouldn't get a cut of the software sales/rentals/subscription fee, so they would never allow it.

The whole point of making hardware is to make money off the software royalties, allowing another service whether it's from Sony or Coca-Cola or Apple or whoever to bypass paying royalties to you as a hardware manufacturer while still having access to your userbase defeats the whole point of being a hardware provider.

It wouldn't be worth it for Sony with Wii U's low installed base and even lesser amount of its owners being interested in anything but Nintendo games. Also Nintendo would like always pose a lot of restrictions on them.
