Oh but it is. It's a very good game. I didn't have it in my Top 50 list last month for no reason !

Still the best game to come out of the 8th Gen as far as I'm concerned actually.

That would ruin the game. Campaign coop is not suited for RE. This frachise deserves to have a good single player campaing.

I would disagree.  I've always enjoyed the RE series since the first but after RE5 my world of it has changed (gameplay-wise, however setting-wise I would prefer back in the city with real zombies).  Coop campaign is just an optional feature since you can still play RE5 & 6 by yourself I don't see the harm in having the option.

Personally i've always thought that it'd make more sense having coop since back then for RE.  Ie. When Claire and Leon met up why would they split up?  In no horror scenario would anybody ever want to split up.

RE5 introduced my gf into playing the series (she knew about the older ones but had no interest in them) and she loved it and is excited to play RE Revalations 2 with me.  Clearly we have different definitions of what is suited and can ruin the game.  Personally from my experience and those around me coop campaign made the RE series a whole lot better.

It's a great game. Especially coming off the god awful resident evil 5 and 6. Still doesn't hold a candle to resident evil 1, 2, 3, 0, or code veronica though. But hey, it's a pretty good game in it's own right and a BIG step in the right direction. Revelations 2 looks like it'll be better, can't wait for it.

I say that since I played the game on the 3DS that this game is great. You should have believed me.

Of course it does not make sense. It does not have to do, it has to be a good game, and the games prior to RE5 were all better, and part of the success was exactly because the horror feel of being alone. In order to be a good survival horror (not a good action game) it needs to be a single player. Co-op in a tru survival horror will take out the horror feel.

What do you mean? RE5 had co-op, and that is easily the best RE game ever. Coop elevated the fun to another level, being able to share the experience. And of all faults and misfires RE6 had, none of them were due to co-op.

I also liked Revelations a lot, so I'm looking forward to part 2.

Opinions and all that, RE5 is not a survival horror in the same vein as REmake.

Loved the crap out of Revelations on my 3DS, and I wish Raid Mode would become a series standard instead of Mercenaries. (I can't stand timed challenges.) I feel like the console version plays like garbage though.

Bloodbath Paddy Wagon Ultra 9

Well said! I love Revelations. Probably the best RE game since 4. I'm not 100% sold on the sequel, but I'm hopeful.

Glad you enjoyed it, Wright!

Play RE 5 and 6 alone? Ha! The stupid AI Capcom put into those games makes it so hard to play! My partners keep wasting herbs when they're barely affected!

You're not supposed to have fun in RE! You're supposed to feel tense! And scared!

Good. I loved it on 3DS. One of the best showcases for that system. Fond memories of playing Raid Mode with Rol. I got it for Wii U, too but can't bring myself to finish it.
