Forums - Nintendo - Why the Death of Nintendo Would Do Gaming Zero Favors

That was actually about as biased as you can get.

Regardless, it's another article built on the fallacy that apathy equals hate.

Around the Network

I honestly see more journalist hate than general hate. Mostly marketing analysts who hung their hat on the "consoles are dead, phones are the future" nonsense predictions and have a vested interest in seeing Nintendo fail in order to be right and keep charging companies for their crystal ball backed "predictions."

None of the big 3 should die. Absolutely no one would benefit from that, I promise you. They all keep each other on their toes and the market continues to be healthy because of it.

Honestly though it would bring a smile to my face if Sony went under. I'm sick, I know. Either that or they could improve their business practices and customer service. Either is good.

This is actually how I feel about Microsoft. Like, I don't want them to go under because ultimately them existing helps the market, but at the same time I feel like they have no business being in video games and they don't really care about it beyond monetary value. Albeit, Sony has been following in Microsoft's footsteps regarding a lot of things, and that has disappointed me beyond belief.

In the console space, I've only ever taken issue with Microsoft's pay to play online policy. When I've dealth with their customer service people I've always been more than happy. Plus the 360 is one of my favourite consoles.

We need Nintendo, they are great company. I have always loved Nintendo but I'm sick of sending them messages of request they should have done years ago. I'm sure they get it to and the next console will be ready on all accounts or lets hope.

Yeah, to be fair, I've never owned a Microsoft console, so I'm really just on the outside looking in when it comes to them. Have you had an issue with Sony's customer service?

I feel the same way about Microsoft too. No business in consoles whatsoever. Them knowingly shipping out the X360 with 30% of their release date shipment being defective (RROD anyone?), them trying to spy on your living room with kinect with the X1, and them trying to have OWNERSHIP of our games REALLY turned me away from them. And also their PC OS being trash has bothered me for a decade...

Nintendo will never be dead so let's the hater hate

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m
