Honestly I don't get why comments like these are not moderatable. This is just a blatant lie. It's clearly claimed that 18.5m is sold to consumers.

but you have to look at this from the owners perspective we just got ps4 numbers of 18.5M you cant have your main page show 18.2 with 2 weeks left

 

you could argue then only do ps4 numbers but then you'll have the gap wrong between the two and thats where this sites gets hits from, sales fans looking at the data between these two consoles

Problem is that we won't get any data for XB1 except NPD. Shipment data is not a reliable estimate for sales after the holidays, especially with MS who tend to overship A LOT (in other words, retailers order too much)
