I know that in the long run the PS4 will likely end up with the better library, but right now the Xbone has one or two games that have caught my eye while the PS4 still has none.

(In my omniscient opinion.)

I totally agree. This same thing happened last gen. Microsoft buys out exclusives from third party to do battle with Sony in the beginning and when the third party runs off Microsoft has nowhere to accept the growth of Sony's library.

That way it gives you the the result  you where looking for. Great thread/ ;P

You do know he's left out a lot of games for PS4 as well.

So essentially this thread is way premature

PS4, no contest.

The voting result is pathetic. Ouya has almost the same appeal as XB1? :(

PS4 library wins for me. I just hope I have enough time to play all those games.

“Ore no... Kachi da!”

Most exclusive for PS4, ranging some of all kinds. Better performance on multi platform games, which are, however, more than 90% of the games. Retrogaming's service already available in NA, and the introduction of a subscription for all the library is a fantastic idea (maybe they colud lower the price a little bit, 15 dollars 1 month and 35 dollars 3 month and 100 dollars 1 year, but they are on the right way).

MS is behind, they will do more for the customers than Sony. Just like they did in 2014. Only ps4 game confirmed I REALLY want to play is Uncharted 4 and I will probably get a ps4 when that game comes out. But I still have Rise of the Tomb Raider for XBO late this year and that game will be epic.

PS4 for games and Xbone for anything online related. I can't freakin' stand PSN.

I always find it strange how my top wanted exclusives are never on the list:
Disgea
Tearaway Unfolded
Cuphead
Grim Fandango Remastered (Never played the original)
Bloodborne (On the list, but I'm stoked)
No Man's Sky
Deep Down
Persona 5
Rime
Persona 5
Forza

I'm assuming there is a Forza every year! That can't be the only racing game of 2015, can it?

Edit: Forgot about project cars.

Both, except Ouya.

Not true at all. Sony always starts off slow. Pay attention to how last gen started and ended. Sony is off to a better start this gen than they were last gen in first party and second party development. Microsoft is doing the exact same thing they did last gen which is petition third party for exclusives to pad out their ranks with newly comissioned IP's and timed exclusives. Sony has also reclaimed their spot in first place which puts them in a dominant positiion. When Sony does well not even Microsoft is a match for them. MS is breaking their own records now and it isn't even holding a candle to what Sony has done.

The only thing that has really changed is Sony's needs to recoup so they are making less AAA titles and investing in more indie experiences which MS was once accustomed to before they forced the indie devs away with their policies. Its not that Sony doesn't want to give their gamers more, its that Microsoft cannot outdevelop them so they have to pay everyone around them until the third party allowances thin out because they need the maximize profits with multiplatform titles. This is why it seemed like Microsoft had a drought of games after their fourth year came up and Sony started gaining on them.

Shane kim was the head of the Xbox division at the beginning of last gen and he had the same mentality as Phil Spencer, hence the wealth of third party exclusives that Microsoft had back then.
