Spending more than 50 million on a game is ridiculous! or rather outrageous, Even if only 19 games from that list... that's still a LOT of games that ware waaay too expensive!!

Higher budgets mean less risk in games, and more risk in keeping afloat. It's pretty much a terrible idea.

The list shows that a big budget not always translates to big sales or good scores.

12 - Deadpool - $101 million
16 - Defiance - $81 million
22 - Watch Dogs - $68 million
25 - Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier - $67 million

Yes and no, its like saying a fiat should get a v12, massive game are beyond their capability. They are smart enough to sticking what they are good and what works for them and their limited fanbase while hardly venturing else where. They lack the courage and skill to attempt a game needing a mega budget. In all likelihood they know they would never make back their investment and likely underwhelm quality wise.

im not even sure if the only nintendo game in the list isnt wrongly in the list. the pokemon marketing wasnt just for the game, it was for the tv-show and the tcg too.

No budget will push games like Mario and Zelda back to the technical masterpieces they once where if the console your developing on is the WiiU.
