No it's not. He was referring to the sales between January and November, not full year sales.

Yes, I'm talking about those numbers plus Japanese sales, which in total barely make 3 million units. 



My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Every Christmas the numbers go crazy around here. PS4 is likely the hardest to track cause the system that sells best has a larger margin of error. Something that doesnt sell too well like Vita is easier. If you are over by 20% on a million that is 200,000 and on 100,000 is only 20,000.

It doesnt help when companies give wonky numbers like X1 selling "nearly 10 million." I woulldnt be shocked if X1 sold less than 10 million thus far.

I think financials for MS and Sony are in the area of a month and those are the only numbers I trust. Hopefully MS splits off X1 from 360 numbers this year.



Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Exactly which also gives is a hint of sell through based on how much usually is in the channels.

It does not since we don't know what "soon" means to them.

Ninsect vgc will probably have wii u at 8.7m by 28th of Dec,nintendo shipped 1.95m last year same quarter,wii u is yoy up ww according to nintendo,except Japan,even if they haven't outshiped last year's same quarter,they probably shipped the same amount,i.e 1.95m and wii u is at 7.29m as of 27th of September,so 9.24m shipped as of 28th dec!If you want my opinion,I wouldn't be surprised if it is undertracked this time...

Well, it probably still depends on how accurate VGC is about X1 sales. From the 15th of november until now, it has sold about 3.2 million with another two weeks to go. If it would manage 900k in those two weeks, X1 sales (according to VGC) and PS4 sales (according to Sony) would stand at 4.1 million each. As other have said, X1 might be overtracked (but we won´t know that until official figures) but it makes for an interesting theory atleast :).

Edit: I just saw that I looked at the wrong date, the correct figure should be 2.8 million forn X1, so that makes it almost impossible for it to have beaten PS4 any month :).

NOo I meant the thread, not actually in december, sorry for the confusion. It was about PS4 being undertracked because PS4 was the best selling console ever, and it was below Wii on this site.
