Then I'm gonna go ahead and say you haven't read the novels or comics. Or paid attention to the terminals.

the novels arnt the game, and the 2 i read were meh at best. BUT, halo evolutions IS a good book,(but its not a novel but a series of shortstorys, good shortstorys)

Well I think you really should consider adding the (imo) when talking about some games tho, since like it's been said Halo is a huge franchise because the characters and story are massive, the X360 got off to a great start because people wanted to "Finish the fight" started in Halo2 that was left on a huge cliff hanger. Think MS were gunning to do the same with Halo5 on the X1 considering that H4 on the X360 was the begining of the second trilogy.

As for call of duty and transformers selling loads but being bad.. well people love action movies and action games, they may not be your thing but there is a huge market for um of people who love that kinda stuff.

transformers and cod arent good action movie/games, transformers isnt able to tell a story at all, its just destruction porn on the lowest level. and the cod story is just a joke, and the games are realy lazy, little number of maps, changes to the gameplay just to make more money, the freaking same animation over and over again in multiple games... loving action films is fine( i mean who doesnt like the first robocop or die hard?), but that doesnt make bad movie good.

That's the thing tho, if you're slightly older you will remember movies like Robocop and they'll have a place in your heart as being amazing action flicks.... it's still a great movie but try and watch that today with the Stop-motion Ed-209 fighting in some of those scenes... give that to kids today who are spoiled with billions of bolts flying into the air in 3d from transformers... tis a hard fight to win over based on the fact that Robocop was a great movie... but is almost 30 years old. I'm not saying that cgi makes movies good, but the old effects in some movies really is a jerk from the atmosphere they create so well with fantastic acting and writing.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

Why they do performance tests on betas is beyond me. That make no sense. They do not represent the final product and really only serve to provide more ammunition for fanboys. But hey, as long as they get clicks.

Well you hit it on the head. Clicks! Specially since it's Halo.

yes some scenes of robocop look realy dated and i would buy a remastered version day 1. the new cgi methods are fantastic, but they dont make a realy bad movie good. and we have seen many nice new movies with good cgi. but we have seen some turds selling realy well, the new star wars, transformers, the new star trek. all realy bad movies with fine gci. but thats nothing new, we have seen it time and time before. we allways had big big turds, and underperforming diamonds. they fired a guy because fightclub bombed hard.

Yep, the final Game should look at least like Halo 4 in mcc

I can't believe people would actually be ok with that. If MGS 2 would have looked "at least" as good as MGS 1, would people have been so forgiving? It seems like our tolerance for quality has fallen through the floor over the last decade.

I'm curious. You're very vocal about which FPS and movies you don't like, and why you don't like them but I haven't heard which FPS games you think are great and which movies have amazing plot lines.

Care to indulge us?

This gen is smaller graphical leap than previous ones.

So, since the beta is 720p, like Titanfall's, does that mean the return of that weird 792p for the final game? I believe it does at least mean they aren't aiming any higher than 900p. Also curious to see if they'll aim for 60 FPS, with dips, or just go ahead with a locked 30.

I think they'll aim for 900p 60fps, they made a big deal about 60fps when they announced MCC I don't see them going back and locking at 30fps for a main Halo game but that's just my guess.

Yeah I predict either 900p or some weird 1080 ratio like 1328x1080, at 60fps but with drops.
