That's the thing tho, if you're slightly older you will remember movies like Robocop and they'll have a place in your heart as being amazing action flicks.... it's still a great movie but try and watch that today with the Stop-motion Ed-209 fighting in some of those scenes... give that to kids today who are spoiled with billions of bolts flying into the air in 3d from transformers... tis a hard fight to win over based on the fact that Robocop was a great movie... but is almost 30 years old. I'm not saying that cgi makes movies good, but the old effects in some movies really is a jerk from the atmosphere they create so well with fantastic acting and writing. |
yes some scenes of robocop look realy dated and i would buy a remastered version day 1. the new cgi methods are fantastic, but they dont make a realy bad movie good. and we have seen many nice new movies with good cgi. but we have seen some turds selling realy well, the new star wars, transformers, the new star trek. all realy bad movies with fine gci. but thats nothing new, we have seen it time and time before. we allways had big big turds, and underperforming diamonds. they fired a guy because fightclub bombed hard.
