Infamous is on the two million sellers list and its at least close enough to that genre, and Knack sold 1.27 M. Yeah...the game would've sold on a Sony platform. If Knack could sell...so could Sunset. Sony's fanbase this gen buys a wider variety of games in larger amounts. Even one million would've sufficed. In all truth and fact any new IP from Insomniac should be multiplat if it isnt exclusive to Sony.


Without bundles Knack would not even be close to 1 million is sales especially since pretty much all the copies sold in Japan came via bundles.

What about the game made it niche?

It's not a military shooter, sports game or RPG. That's why I said "kind of niche". Also, the recent Insomniac games haven't done that well commercially.

I guess Uncharted is kind of niche too.

Well thank goodness Sony's bundling game was strong enough, because Microsofts didn't even get Sunset Overdrive to 600k according to VGChartz. I would love to see the number of downloads, because I was one of the guys who bought it during the daily deal days.

Naughty Dog is a beast by themselves But anyways, my definition was just off the top of my head; there wasn't much thought put into it. I just feel, when I think of Sunset Overdrive, that it is a niche game. Just my personal opinion.

Went in here, expecting an X1 game. Wasn't disappointed.

As far as fun factor goes Dead Rising 3 is the best one in the franchise the first one still has the best story.  Still not all the way done with it yet since I still have to beat it on Nightmare mode and I will probably buy the season pass once its $15 dollars or less.  Already bought the Super Ultra Dead Rising 3 Arcade Remix Hyper Edition EX Plus Alpha which was a bit on the short side but still $10 dollars well spend.
